Liner Notes:

Johnny Rawls travels all over the United States greeting fans who loyally follow his schedule and show up whenever and wherever they can.

During his tours he has made many friends and Helena, Montana stands out as one of his favorite stops.

Johnny's traveling R&B, blues and soul show normally has a trio backed by Harvey Westmoreland on the drums and James Carson on bass. When they hit Helena, Johnny's long time friend, Dan Nichols, plays the drums and Harvey assists with vocals. The addition of a solid keyboard player like Radoslav Lorckavic completes the group and they give Helena an evening to remember.

"Live in Montana" covers an array of songs written by Johnny throughout his career. Songs that his dedicated fans ask to hear at any given venue. "My Turn to Win", the name of one his albums, has become a regular and everyone requests "Lucy", a catchy song with a little bit of nautiness and a great beat to dance to. "All in the Game" pretty much sums it up, the game of love; and with those soulful eyes, stylish dress and smooth vocals, Johnny Rawls continues to capture the attention of the ladies in the crowd.

The best part of this album is that everyone is having fun doing what they like to do and the crowd feels it. Johnny and his band make a point to travel through Montana at least twice a year and the crowds continue to grow and come out to see him everytime he performs. That's why when you play this album you can relive the spirit and enthusiasm as if you were "Live in Montana."
